Make your own Table Plan!!

As we’re only having a small number of guests at our wedding abroad, and our reception when we get back isn’t a ‘sit down meal’ affair, we don’t need a table plan but its easy peasy to make your own!

Why not coordinate your place names to match? Or decorate them to match your post box, guest book etc etc…!! Take some inspiration from google images such as these below...

Decorations

After pretty much deciding on the centrepieces, I’ve searched high and low and changed my mind a million times on what decorations to use! There is so much to choose from! One idea that I thought would be lovely is to decorate balloons with little butterflies, I seem to be slowly bringing butterflies into my theme somehow! They will look great dotted about the place in plants, flowers etc

For the tables around the centrepieces it’s going to be petals and maybe a few table crystals scattered around….

To create something similar to this…

Table trivia is a great idea - what a fantastic ice breaker for guests who don’t know each other!

I think we’ll probably throw in some bubbles to, to keep the kids (and adults!) amused!!

Guest Book!

Here’s my guest book which I decorated to coordinate with my post box….only problem is that the lid doesn’t fit on now - I’ll have to fix that by tying some ribbon around it!!

I purchased a blank guest book from eBay and then used the same decorations that I used for the post box which I bought from eBay and a local haberdashery shop.

There are lots of ideas you can use to decorate your guest book – using a quality paper to create a border around the guest book, adding decoupage, embellishments, ribbon etc to fit your theme such as the ones below -

Some help and ideas....

We all need a little inspiration from time to time.....I've needed plenty to keep me going! As well as websites, forums, google images (which I  have been on constantly for months!) there are also some great books around that are well worth investing in - at a bargain price too from Amazon.

Here are a few that I found.....
